Team selection
Our panel places players with others of a similar skill. You can name one or two friends; we'll try to pair you if they name you too.
-
Meet your team
Your team manager sends your training night and the first game. Order the uniform and you're set.
Friendship teams
We'll consider a friendship team only when a full set of 7 or 8 players and a coach is sent to admin@warrandytebasketball.com.au by the registration close date.
What the fee covers
The registration fee includes every game, finals too. Basketball Victoria's annual participant licence ($29 for 17 and under, $43 for 18 and over) and Basketball Australia's $5.50 development levy are added if you don't already have them.
Coaches and team managers
Coaches are volunteers, usually parents or past players. Every team needs a parent as team manager to run the scoring roster and weekly messages.
Away games
Away games are played across the east: Bulleen, Collingwood, Doncaster, Doreen, Balwyn, Eltham, Ivanhoe, Banyule and Blackburn.
